INGRID-The Experience

Hey Everyone,
I’m proud to announce the forthcoming launch of one of the most exciting projects I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on! “Ingrid” is a beautiful novel, told through three mediums: Literature, Music and Art. The novel itself (written by my mother, Lynnette Kraft) is a joy to read, with life affirming messages and characters that practically leap from the page. The writing style is deceptively easy and relentlessly page turning, but intelligent and thoughtful as well.

The music, which I had the pleasure of composing, is meant to function as a portal into the wondrous and charming universe of the story. Some of the music is dramatic, hopeful and triumphant, while other passages serve as a peek into the charcoaled heart of bitterness itself. Composing this score was a draining and joyous journey, and one I truly hope will bring you the same emotions and dreams as it did me.

The artwork, (breathed into being by my sister, Abigail) is truly marvelous to behold. Abigail’s lifelike sketches and jaw dropping perspectives have to be seen to be believed, and offer a unique and fanciful look into the wondrous sights and scenes of the story.

Ladies and gentlemen!
Without further ado…

  1. Hello,My daughter riveeced a headband with flower clip on it from Abigail ealry last week at valley childrens. Thank you! It is awsome what you are doing. My daughter has HLH and just started to loose her hair for the last few days, and the bling helped! Thank you!

  2. I must write a proper foollw-up post about these soon! In a nutshell:Craftinc is a good starter guide for things to think about when setting up a crafty business (with lots of great interviews for inspiration). But there are a lot of great blogs around at the moment offering similar starter guides / advice, and some of the topics didn’t seem that relevant to my business model – there seemed to be a lot of talk about outsourcing, for example. Second steps meanwhile feels very relevant to me as a British designer/maker aiming to make a living making things and goes into a lot of useful everyday detail.

  3. Ive read Craft Inc. and its usefull! For me it was the eye opeenr for taking myself really serious, and make bigger steps. So that’s what I’m preparing now (in my head..).I’m in The Netherlands and the whole chapter about taxes etc. was not my cup of tea, but that was the only – .A lot of aha-moments and nice stories about real people, just like on Etsy, that’s the best!Take your time, and don’t forget to look outside, how Spring is starting to arrive!Groeten uit Rotterdam

  4. The core of your writing whilst appearing reasonable initially, did not really sit very well with me after some time. Someplace throughout the paragraphs you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately only for a short while. I still have a problem with your leaps in assumptions and you might do nicely to fill in all those breaks. In the event you actually can accomplish that, I could undoubtedly be impressed.
